Principals Report
Dear Parents/Caregivers,
What a wonderful start we have had to the 2018 school year. The weather has certainly been very kind, allowing for programmes to proceed as normal, which is a wonderful way to start the year. At Monday’s assembly I challenged the children to do Random Acts of Kindness. These can be done in a variety of ways, e.g. opening the door for someone else, saying good morning to another person before they do, stepping back and letting another child be first in line, taking someone’s rubbish to the bin when taking their own, remembering to say thank you, etc. Every small interaction with someone is an opportunity to have a positive impact on each person. February 17th is the Random Acts of Kindness Day; however I would like to challenge the children to continue all year in order to instil the virtue of being kind to others. If you would like to know more about Random Acts of Kindness or are looking for more ways to show kindness there are many web pages that contain information, one such page can be found via the link below.

HAMPTON PARK PRIMARY - P&C ASSOCATION
GENERAL P&C COMMITTEE MEMBERS
P&C membership is open to all parents of pupils who attend the school, and to any citizens within the school community. The P&C maintains a register of members (i.e. any person who has paid the annual $1 subscription is automatically a member of the association). Parents are able to attend meetings without having to become a member, however if they choose not to become a member they do not have an entitlement to vote. In the spirit of building community and remembering that the children's needs are front and centre of all P&C initiatives, parents are reminded that the P&C is run in the best interests of our students and not for individual benefit.
