Book Club – Orders Due Thursday 19th March
Book Club catalogues have been distributed to your child’s classroom. They are also available in the office for your convenience. Please make sure your order form and correct payment is returned in a clearly marked envelope or zip lock bag with your child’s name and classroom marked on it.

Golf Incursion
Hampton Park students participated in some fun golf sessions with Jordan Skimming from Golf WA. Some students proved to be quite talented with the pitching wedge and others found out why Golf, at best, can be a very frustrating but addictive leisure activity.

If anyone would like to follow up on a very lucrative possible career, please see the flyer below.
Harmony Day
On Tuesday 24th March we are celebrating Harmony Day. We invite all the children to wear clothing from their cultural heritage. They are also welcome to wear the colour orange, which is the colour of Harmony Day.
As part of our exciting day of activities we are holding a Long Table Lunch for all students and parents/caregivers. To make this event successful we need all students to contribute a plate of food to share. We encourage you to showcase your family culture through culinary delights!
Due to limited heating and refrigeration options at school we ask that perishable food is brought to the under covered area at 12.30pm. Please label any container/dish with your child’s name and class for easy return and bring a serving spoon if your dish requires one. Also bring a picnic rug for your family to share if you want to sit as a family.
Students who have allergies or special diets we ask that you provide your child with their own individual lunch in a labelled container.
Following the long table lunch parents are invited to participate in classroom rotational activities that will take place between 1.15pm and 3pm.
School Board News
Dear Parents/Carers/Guardians,
To keep our community updated on what the School Board does, please find below the key items we discussed in our 19th February Open Board meeting:
- Board’s achievements for 2019 and priorities for 2020; and
- Election of 3 parent Board positions.
Our open meetings are usually short and held before school open nights. The main purpose of these meetings is to provide an annual report on the Board’s performance and run elections for vacant parent positions.
One of the key priorities I raised for 2020 is to recognise our school staff and teachers through your nominations for the WA Education Awards. Nominations are usually open in April / May every year and we aim to provide more information on how to nominate closer to the date.
I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the following parents on being elected to the Board:
- Claudio Capozzi;
- Amy Feleppa;
- William Lim.
If you would like more details on what we discussed in this and previous meetings, you can visit our School Board webpage at the link below.
